Hotel @ Syngrou Fix

This hotel is very nice and clean, staff are very helpful, rooms are clean and modern and has all amenities that you might need, the open buffet breakfast was very delicious and the amount of food was very good, various drinks to satisfy all tastes, the location is centralized nearby main streets, bus and metro stops. I read a lot of reviews regarding the rooms being noisy and this was something of a concern to me, but in reality I didn't experience any issues related to noise, in fact I was in a room with a balcony that is facing the main busy street and I didn't have any difficulty with noise. Overall a very positive experience.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is incredibly kind and helpful. I love the location and the hotel is clean, quiet and safe. I specifically wanted to be near the City Center but not in it. Koukaki fits the bill perfectly. It is a short 10-20 minute walk to Acropolis, Plaka, etc. Everything you need is nearby. Restaurants, grocery store, metro station, church…I got the basic single room and it is very small but it also has a little balcony. I wanted to go up to the next size room but hotel is full although I’ve been here almost a week now and, since I am a solo traveler, the room has worked out fine. They have a lovely buffet breakfast every morning with everything you can imagine. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if I return to Athens.

English: I came Athens for marathon. This hotel had provided a terrible experience for me. I paid around 70~80€ per night and received this kind of tragedy which is totally unacceptable and unbelievable.There are so many mosquitoes inside my room which is totally unacceptable in a hotel. I can’t sleep well in four consecutive nights because I got bitten by mosquitoes every night and it absolutely destroyed my sleep at night. As a marathon runner sleeping quality is the important aspects to affect the performance of runner. It shows that the hotel can’t provide a good environment for customer to rest. Also the air conditioner in your room is just a decoration. You can’t turn on it in your room.I hope u read my comment before you book. Thank you I just don’t want more people to suffer. 中文：蚊子很多 完全是不能够接受的 太他妈的痛苦了 千祈唔好住呢度呀日日同啲蚊瞓呀 晚晚針我十幾下 瞓左4日咬足4日折磨到仆街 唔撚好住呢度 真係貼錢買難受 For your information: 1) I went to reception to report the issue of mosquitoes in my room and the reply that I received by your stuff is “mosquitoes is everywhere” there are nth you can do 2) also I reported the air conditioner can’t use to ur staff because it is locked and he said he can’t control all room are the same 3) the window are opened before I entered the room 4) I tried to close all windows to make prevent mosquitoes coming inside but the air conditioner is not working How can your turns your fault to customer service

The hotel is cosey and clean. Although the breakfast seems small and limited, it's combined in a way that makes it look varied and is delicious. The staff is friendly and kind. Although the check-in hours are later and the check-out hours are earlier than the convensional hours of other hotels I've had experience with, the hotel was kind to let us leave our baggage with them before check-in and after check-out, while we toured the surroundings. The hotel is at a 20 minute walk away from The Acropolis, where along the way you have a lot of restaurants and bars or a 5 minute walk to the metro station where you can take the subway to almost any landmark in Athens, including to and from the Airport.

If you’re looking to visit the Acropolis, this hotel is ideally located within walking distance from the side entrance. (10-15 min) I went first thing in the morning and only had to wait 10 min to get in. It is also only 2 subway rides away from Syntagma, which was convenient. I spent most of my time out in the city and didn’t spend a ton of time in my room, but it was nice and clean. The breakfast was ok, but great to have included, especially considering the price.
